A school library is a building or room in which books and magazines are kept for the students to read or borrow. It is a part and parcel of a school. It is generally situated in a corner of the school. In most schools it located on the ground floor. A school library is well-decorated. There are two parts in it In one part there is a reading room and a counter for issuing books. In other part books are arranged in almirahs and book shelves. There are tables and chairs in the reading room. There are many kinds of books in a school library. These books include stories, novels, poems and text books. There is a librarian to issue books. If we have a library card, we can borrow books from the library by showing our library card. A student can borrow three books at a time We are allowed to keep books at home for a week. It has great importance for the students. It is very useful to them. They can prepare notes in a school library taking the help of different books. They can also make the best use of their leisure time by reading books in the school library. Our school has a nice library. We feel proud of our library. It is a sacred place of learning. I borrow books and reference books from our school library. I also borrow novels from here.
