Generally. good governance is associated with the government of a nation, and good governance means the good rule. It is a pre-requisite for all kinds of development in a country. It helps a country move forward with its development programs. Good governance generally depends on various factors like enlightened leaders, the practice of proper democracy, transparency and accountability, and a good electoral system. First of all, enlightened people who are free from vices must be at power. They must be true democrats who will nurture the true ideal of democracy. Good governance cannot be thought of without transparency and accountability. The administration must be transparent and the people in the administration must account for the people for the activities of the administration. In this way. different factors shape and design good governance for the welfare and development of a country and its countrymen.
