It is pleasant to remember ones childhood memories whether it was pleasant or painful. Even though I am aged now, I can still remember some of my childhood days, My childhood days were as eventful and exciting as some sweet dreams. I spent my childhood in the village Chelopara' under Bogra Sadar Thana. It was a suburb area having green trees, open fields and the river Korotoa flowing nearby. I was grown up here playing and wandering about by the riverside. My mother taught me Bengali and English letters at home with the help of a nice picture book. I can remember that at the age of five I started my early education in a kindergarten school. Having been admitted in the school I was very happy to have new friends. I began to learn new things with much enthusiasm. As a student I was smart and much ahead of my classmates. My teachers loved me very dearly. They were all friendly, helpful and sincere. My classmates were also very good and gentle. When I remember my childhood I remember my playmates with whom I spent the major part of the day. They behaved very friendly with me. Playing with other children in the yard infront of our house is the sweetest childhood memory for me. I also remember the love and affection of my parents. My father often would bring beautiful toys and nice gifts for me. My mother told me nice stories every night before sleeping. I have also some bitter experience. I lost my grandmother when I was only seven years old. Her death shocked me much. However, I feel lucky that I passed a happy and joyful childhood. I wish if I could go back again to my childhood when I was free from all burdens of life.
