A journey by launch is enjoyable. I have traveled to many places by launch. Now, I am describing one of my journeys. It was the month of September. The river was full of water. There were strong currents in the river. The students of our college decided to make a journey by launch. Our route was the river Navaganga. We bonded the launch at Palita Ghat of Magura. Our destination was Chitra Bridge of Narail. There were 150 students at our party. Five teachers were with us. We started our journey at 9 a. m. The river was not very wide. But there were currents going downwards. We were also going in that direction. As a result, our launch was going fast. There were beautiful and charming sights on both sides of the river. Some boys, girls, men, and women were bathing in the river. The boys and the girls were shouting to see us. Many fishermen were fishing in the river. Many cargoes were carrying goods. We took some snacks on the launch. When we reached Naldi, we entered another river. A lot of water hyacinths were passing with the currents of the river. Sometimes, we saw many kinds of fish swimming. Birds were flying over our heads. Some boatmen were singing watial while rowing small boats in the river. We also saw many small ferries in the river. We reached Naruto Town at 11 a. m. It is a beautiful town of Bangladesh. We went near the Bandha Ghat. This ghat was built in 1886. At last, we reached the Chitra Bridge. The journey was very charming. I cannot forget it.
