A good neighbour should have a number of excellent qualities. First, she/he should be friendly. S/he should consider his/her neighbours to be his/her own friends. Seconds/he should be kind and sympathetic to the other people in his/her neighbourhood. If anyone is in danger, s/he should come forward to help him/her. Third, s/he should be tolerant in his/her attitude, If anybody annoys him/her. she should demonstrate tolerance and advise him/her gently to refrain from annoying not only him/her but also others. Fourth, s/he should not be selfish. S/he should always work not only for higher welfare but also for the welfare of his/her neighbours. Fifth, s/he should be a peace-loving person. S/he should not quarrel with the people of his/her locality, Sixth, s/he should share the joys and sorrows of his/her neighbours: S/he should always try to help them in all possible ways. Seventh, s/he should behave politely with his/her neighbours. We know that a person of good manners gets on smoothly with everybody. So s/he is loved and admired by all. In a nutshell, a good neighbour should be the quintessence of some sterling qualities.
