A street beggar is a man who depends on others' charity. He is a familiar figure in our country. He is usually seen to beg standing by the roadside. He is often found at railway station, bus stand, footpaths and market place. He stands in front of the mosque on Friday. His dress is very dirty and torn. A street beggar looks strange with dirty and torn clothes. He seems very weak and hungry. Sometimes he recites verses from the holy Quran to draw the attention of the people. Sometimes he shows his problems to the people to have alms. When a giver gives a coin, he prays to God for the giver. A street beggar leads a miserable life. He gets very small amount in a day. He lives from hand to mouth. We should rehabilitate him.
