There are many kinds of Bangladeshi foods. But, all are not favorite to me. As I am Bangladeshi, rice and fish are my favorite food. I also like dal and vegetables. Seasonal home made foods as vapa pitha in the month of poush is my favorite food. Besides, pithas like patisapta, vapa, chitai are most favorite to me. Among seasonal fruits, I like pineapple, mango, jackfruit, blackberries etc. These fruits are very nourishing and beneficial for health. Our rivers abound with fish. World famous hilisha are available in our rivers. I like it most. I also like payesh made from date juice in the month of poush and magh. I also like various types of pithas made from date juice. I like to eat it early in the morning. However, most of the Bangladeshi foods are very delicious and nutritious. Actually the foods we take in our country is rarely found elsewhere of the world. I am really proud of having these Bangladeshi foods.
