Sir,
With due respect, I would like to state that at present there are three Bengali dailies in our students common room but not a single English daily. We have many brighter students in our college and they are keenly interested in readin English newspaper. These students expressed their grievance to me for the non-availability of English daily at the Students Common Room. I have assured them that very soon an English daily will be available at the Students Common Room.
Therefore, I sincerely request you that you would be kind enough to arrange an English daily for the Students Common Room from the next month to meet the demand of the brighter students of this college.
