My Dear Milu,
I have only just heard from your mother that you have broken your leg by a motor accident and you have been lying in bed in the Dhaka Medical College Hospital for a week. I am very sorry. If I had known, I should have written before. However, I am glad to know that the leg is not to be amputated. It is a case of simple fracture and you are now much better. I hope you will soon be all right and join us again as smart and jolly as you were.
