Subject: Warning about 'Chikungunya' disease
Dear Nasim,
Hope you are well. Today I am writing you about the outbreak of a new disease. This is known as 'Chikungunya' disease. It is an illness caused by a virus which is spread by Aedes mosquito. The most common symptoms of chikungunya are fever and joint pain. Other symptoms may include headache, muscle pain, joint swelling, or rash. The mosquito that carries chikungunya virus bites primarily during the daytime, both indoors and outdoors, and often lives around buildings in urban areas. There is no vaccine or medicine to prevent chikungunya. The only way to prevent chikungunya is to prevent mosquito bites. Always use net while sleeping and make the surroundings of our house neat and clean.
