Tia is the name of the bird. It is a very nice bird that is found all over Bangladesh. The whole body of the bird is green. It has strong and curved beak that is bright red. Its eyes are round in shape and almost yellow in colour. The feet of the bird are red and its tail is tall and slim. There are black and red coloured rings around its neck. The calling of this bird is very nice to hear. The movement of the bird is very charming. It moves from one tree to another. It is generally seen in the rural areas where trees are available. It eats grass, nuts, chilli, ripe banana and other fruits. It lives in flocks and builds nests in tall shimul trees and in holes of empty buildings. It lays four to six eggs once. The appearance of the bird is very nice. So, it is a very beautiful bird of Bangladesh.
