Suppose, your elder sister's marriage ceremony is going to be held on Sunday, the 27th April. You have to do a lot of works in this occasion and as such you need a four days' leave in advance. Now write an application to the Headmaster of your school praying for a four days' leave in advance.

Sir,

I respectfully to state that my elder sister's marriage ceremony is going to be held on Sunday, I the 27 April 2015. I am the only brother of my sister. She loves me very much. Furthermore, I have some responsibilities towards my relatives and friends. For this, I will remain busy at home for necessary arrangements. So I shall not be able to attend the classes from 26 to 29 April 2015.

I, therefore, earnestly request you to grant me a four days' leave in advance.
