Once in a shop a pot of jam broke by chance. On this, a swarm of flies came there to eat up the jam and they would not move from the spot while there was a drop left. At last their feet stuck so fast in the jam that they could by no means fly back and they all had to die at last. The flies cried out, as they died, "What tools we all have been! For a taste of jam, we are going to lose our dear lives".
